Core Curriculum for NDT
Introduction to NDT, Processes and Discontinuities - This course introduces students to the fundamentals of the most common NDT Methods, the certification of inspection personnel and the various governing bodies as well as the lighting and vision requirements for the inspection personnel and NDT Method being performed. The fundamentals of Base Materials, processes, and their associated discontinuities as well as the most common welding processes and their associated discontinuities.

Visual Testing (VT) Level I and II
- VT Part A (Intro to NDT, Material Processes and Discontinuities)
- VT Part B (Welding and Discontinuities)
- VT Part C (Metallurgy and Mechanical Testing)
This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of the most common NDT Methods, the fundamentals of Base Materials and Welding Processes, equipment application their associated discontinuities as well as the most common welding processes and their associated discontinuities. Introduction and fundamentals of metallurgical properties and mechanical testing.
