The University will be closed for winter break beginning Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026. The University will re-open on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The spring 2026 hours of operation for the DSS Office are as follows:
- 8 am to 5 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- 8 am to 4 pm on Fridays
During the spring 2026 semester, the DSS Office will be closed on the following University holidays:
- Monday, January 19 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
- Tuesday, March 31 (Cesar Chavez Day)
- Friday, April 3 (Good Friday)
Unfortunately, the DSS Office is unable to accommodate walk-ins. If you are interested in meeting with someone from the DSS staff, you will need to contact us in advance to schedule a meeting. Please know, DSS is only able to meet with parents if the student is present.
How to schedule a meeting with DSS:

- Provide the following information
- Name
- LMU ID Number
- Reason for meeting
- Some days and times you are available to meet
- Preferred meeting method (in person, phone, Zoom)
DSS staff will respond to your email and work with you to arrange the meeting.
