Preparing to R.O.A.R. (Resourceful, Optimistic, Authentic, Receptive)

The Disability Support Services Peer Mentoring Program was developed to assist students registered with the LMU DSS Office who have expressed interest in receiving peer assistance or support with navigating college life. Our mentors share their familiarity with campus life, resources, and personal experiences, as a student with a disability. By building connections between new Lions and more experienced Lions, the DSS peer mentoring program makes the LMU experience more personable and provides access and opportunities for rewarding interpersonal relationships.

Our students may share information as part of their mentor-mentee relationship and mentor training. Such information will be held confidential and under no circumstances be disclosed to others outside of the LMU Disability Support Services Peer Mentoring Program. The program acts in accordance with and under the supervision of the LMU Disability Support Services Office.
