Certificate for Leadership in Disability Workforce Development

As part of LMU's role as the Technical Assistance and Developmental Evaluation provider for the DOR–AJCC Collaboration Project, the Certificate for Leadership in Disability Workforce Development serves as a cornerstone of the project's professional development strategy. The certificate is designed to strengthen the knowledge, leadership, and capacity of workforce professionals who support individuals with disabilities throughout California's workforce system. Developed by faculty experts the certificate provides participants with practical knowledge and evidence-informed strategies to advance disability inclusion, strengthen cross-system collaboration, and improve employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

The inaugural cohorts launched in Summer 2026, bringing together project stakeholders from across California to participate in the first offering of this innovative professional development program. Additional cohorts are planned to begin in Fall 2026 to continue expanding leadership capacity throughout the DOR–AJCC Collaboration Project.
