LMU Extension works to educate the community about the role of peer support specialists and assist organizations with their training needs. To help address the national opioid epidemic, peers operate in treatment agencies, recovery organizations, hospital emergency rooms, law enforcement agencies, prevention agencies, educational settings, behavioral health organizations and in many more community settings.
To better help support this growing field, LMU Extension provides Peer Support trainings and specialty trainings to organizations nationwide. We can create a customized program that meets your budget, format, and training needs.
