BADM 1098 Tutor
I came into LMU as a Political Science major, but after taking Intro to Economics sophomore year, I quickly realized how much I loved the way economics blends theory, math, and real-world problem solving. I first added it as a minor, and just this past summer officially declared it as my second major. Before that, I would have said my strengths were strictly in the social sciences rather than in more quantitative fields. But through committing to economics, I’ve discovered a real passion for applying intuition and real-world context to mathematical concepts. That has lead me to tutoring in ECON 1050, 3330, and BADM 1098. Outside of the classroom, I love second-hand shopping and spend a lot of time with my cat and friends, who keep life entertaining.

Hi, my name is Alec and I am an Accounting major here at LMU. I actually transferred in and had already taken Tax, Audit, Intermediate 1 & 2, and Cost Accounting but am retaking them because upper divisions don't transfer : ( But I think it's a good chance to reinforce the concepts! I don't mind helping even if you feel like you're absolutely lost. I'll also try my best to cater my assistance as much as I can so ideally everyone who comes can have an easier time getting through class.
