Campus Partners
LMU offers many resources to support our students across campus. Below you will find links to the websites for a few of our many campus partners as well as descriptions on their offices/programs.
- Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides Academic Coaching, Course Tutoring, and Writing Support. Services are designed to complement LMU's curriculum with the intention of fostering academic success.
- Career and Professional Development provides resources and experiences to help students with their career explorations. In addition to assisting with cover letters/resumes, they provide opportunities to interact with employers, professional headshots, access to Mane Apparel (a professional closet), and so much more.
- Community of Care (COC) provides students experiencing personal or academic difficulties with support and resources. Students are assigned a case manager who works with them to find solutions to best address their unique situation.
- Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides programs and services that support international students' social, educational, and professional success. Additionally, they ensure regulatory compliance for students and the university.
- Public Safety provides a safe environment on campus. For students who experience a temporary mobility impairment, they can provide on-campus transportation; this is offered as a curtesy and is not guaranteed to always be available.
- Student Health Services provides medical services to LMU students. The types of services provided include treatment for illnesses & injuries, preventive care, vaccinations, health education/wellness programs, and much more.
- Student Housing Office provides on campus housing housing assignments for LMU students. They work to create a living environment that complements students' learning experiences through programs and services.
- Student Psychological Services (SPS) provides confidential individual & group psychotherapy (in person and via telehealth), crisis assessment & response, educational outreach, community referrals, and consultation for those who are concerned about a student.
Disability Resources Outside of LMU
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides an explanation of the ADA as well as publications and updates regarding the ADA.
- California Department of Rehabilitation provides services and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
- California Civil Rights Department provides protection against discrimination in employment, housing or other public accommodations.
- Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Provides equal education access to students with disabilities through the enforcement of civil rights.
