Tessa Takash

Tessa Takash, M.S., Study Abroad Advisor, serves the LMU community supporting  students in pursing transformative, academically rigorous, and personally enriching international experiences. She provides comprehensive, student-centered advising to help all students engage meaningfully in their programs.

Drawing on her years of professional experience in international education, student advising, and program management, Tessa is passionate about helping students connect global learning with their academic and career goals. Having studied abroad three times – in England, Southeast Asia, and Chile – she believes deeply in international education’s ability to foster empathy, a sense of global responsibility, and to bridge difference.

Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Tessa holds a Master’s in Student Affairs and Higher Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Outside of work, she enjoys fiber arts (knitting and crocheting), reading, and spending time with her family and two cats.
