Who can apply? How do I apply?
Any LMU undergraduate can apply. Priority will first be given to students who have never participated in a research experience (e.g. SURP, Rains, REU), and then to students in their first two years of study at LMU. To apply, please complete the following application.

Any LMU undergraduate can apply. Priority will first be given to students who have never participated in a research experience (e.g. SURP, Rains, REU), and then to students in their first two years of study at LMU. To apply, please complete the following application.
A complete application will consist of:
- Applicant Information;
- A Brief Personal Statement;
- A two page pre-writing sample.
Please note that the quality of the pre-writing sample does not determine admission, and all those interested are encouraged to apply, regardless of prior research experiences or stage of writing.
What happens upon acceptance into the RLC?
After acceptance into the RLC, students will receive an email letting them know when and where their session is scheduled, a syllabus for their session, and a pre-survey to complete before the RLC starts. Please complete the survey and show up for your first session.
